Cumberland, Vancouver Island, BC - A Living Dream Expression presents - A No-Stress Music & Arts Fest

Friday October 24th to Sunday October 26th, 2003

3 days of music & celebration spread out between 3 venues... with many "off the cuff" activities planned as well.

The festival will feature fantastic acts such as Seattle's Iguales, Victoria's Stephen Franke & Noises From The Toolshed, Victoria's Wassabi Collective, Vancouver's Slammin Jack, Themasses, & The Herd... along with a number of Vancouver Island showcase acts including Big Red Truck & Vitamin L... along with many more great artists and attractions.

This festival will feature a variety of musical styles, as well as food, clothing and art vendors. So far, it is one of its kind in the heart of Cumberland, BC... so it is sure to go boom!

The festival will be held throughout different venues in downtown Cumberland all within close proximity of one another.

Friday, October 24th

Venue #1 - The Waverly Hotel - 19 YRS+ ONLY (licensed premises) - Featuring a lineup of local Vancouver Island acts that will be performing from 12 NOON till 2 AM.

Venue #2 - The Cumberland Cultural Arts Centre - AN ALL-AGES EVENT - featuring a "Turn of the Century" late 1800's to early 1900's theme. There will be an acoustic performance upstairs beginning at 10 PM and running until 2 AM consisting of 2 sets by THE HERD, with an electric performance downstairs, 10 PM to 2 AM, with 2 sets by STEPHEN FRANKE & NOISES FROM THE TOOLSHED.

Venue #3 - The Living Dream Activity Hall (Across the street from the Waverley Hotel) - ALL-AGES ACCESS - This is where attendees will be able to find the food, clothing & art vendors. There will also be open acoustic jams along with various music & art workshops being held throughtout the day & night. We will also have locker facilities available for those looking to store equipment, etc.

Saturday, October 25th

Venue #1 - The Waverly Hotel - 19 YRS+ ONLY (licensed premises) - Featuring a lineup of local Vancouver Island acts that will be performing from 12 NOON till 2 AM.

Venue #2 - The Cumberland Recreational Centre - AN ALL-AGES EVENT - Saturday night is the Masquerade Ball... Masquerade workshops & crafts to be held Saturday at the Activity Hall. Saturday night's Masquerade Ball performances will include 4+ hours of incredible live entertainment featuring Themasses & Slammin Jack beginning at 10 PM and finishing around 2 AM.

Venue #3 - The Living Dream Activity Hall (Across the street from the Waverley Hotel) - ALL-AGES ACCESS - This is where attendees will be able to find the food, clothing & art vendors. There will also be open acoustic jams along with various music & art workshops being held throughtout the day & night. We will also have locker facilities available for those looking to store equipment, etc.

Sunday, October 26th - Closing Ceremonies - Come As You Are

The Cumberland Recreational Centre - AN ALL-AGES EVENT - this final day of performances begins early at 11:00 AM and runs through until our closing SUPERJAM & sponsor thank you's at approx. 11:30 PM. Performances are scheduled to include Stephen Franke & Noises from the Toolshed, Slammin Jack, Themasses, Kaejema, The Herd & a couple of other possible surprises... we're working on it!

We will also continue operations at The Living Dream Activity Hall (Across the street from the Waverley Hotel) - ALL-AGES ACCESS - This is where attendees will be able to find the food, clothing & art vendors. There will also be open acoustic jams along with various music & art workshops being held throughtout the day & night. We will also have locker facilities available for those looking to store equipment, etc.

Due to accommodations & city logistics, event organizers are limiting tickets to 1000.

Tickets $35 advance - $50 on-site (includes camping + all venues & workshops)

There will be a Visitors Center set up where you will be able to exchange your tickets for all-access wristbands. (2 colors - all-ages & licensed - ID must be presented for wristbands with Waverly Hotel access)
