Vermontdave Posted March 6, 2003 Report Share Posted March 6, 2003 Unfortunately, a mall is private property and the cops had no choice but to arrest the guy for refusing the security gaurds demand to leave. However, these "security" people showed an all too common degree of "love it or leave it", "you're with us or against us" mentality. This issue won't go away without some serious back-pedaling by mall management. They can't afford to alienate any segment of consumer. Unless that was specific mall policy, which I doubt, these charges will be dropped and hopefully these dumb-ass redneck security gaurds will get canned. Weezy, its a fact not a theory.
