Yah.. just tye the cord like normal t/d (swiral etc..). Then put a little bit of boiling water and a bit of salt in a ziplock, then simmer it in a bigger bowl of boiling water for like 20 mins.

They tell you to put the t/d straight in a bowl of boiling water but I find that, when you have too much water, the dye gets wasted in the water

it's the cords graham, they come "impregnated" with the dye. (i just like saying impregnated) so ya, i guess you just wrap em up and simmer. The baggie is a great tip.

ah I haven't gotten there yet - maybe this weekend

i'm still trying to weigh my potential for screw up to the limited number of strings i have in deciding which items to attempt dying.
