gentlemonkey 17 Report post Posted September 14, 2001 Not sure if anyone made it up there at noon to mourn.. but trying to get up there was like a really busy Canada day.. Except almost everyone was wearing suits. and there were no 13 year olds throwing up on each other.. nice scene up there. good to see people actually care about others. Booche 235 Report post Posted September 14, 2001 Actually, upon re-reading my post I realize I didnt say how strong the emotions were on the Hill. I honestly cant put into words how I felt or others felt. A sense of unity and solidarity in a time of need. It was rather moving to witness first hand. Although my location didnt afford us very good acoustics, everyone around us were there to show and feel support.
