bouche
Have a listen to this sweet-ass set of tracks put together by Jarrod, bass player from Jambolaya. It's a new project called 'Sneakers', and they'll be coming to Ottawa on May 27 at the Cafe Dekcuf. It's some really cool shite
Hux
.....that should be: MARCH 27th....
bradm
Is that going to be a seamless show? And if so, with whom? Aloha, Brad
Hux
honestly not sure yet.... It's looking like Butterlies and Zebras will make a return appearance, with one other band still being confirmed!! (new local band possibly!)
bradm
It seems to me as if B&Z would be great in a seamless setting. I found their last show at Dekcuf a little nebulous, like a GD "Space" bit, but without the stuff leading into and out of it. Coming after (and before) another band would, I think, work a bit better. It'd also be neat to hear them on top of a rhythm section. Aloha, Brad
Hux
It would definitely be interesting to see/hear that brad.... I guess one concern, is that for B&Z to really do "their thing" they need about 129 pedals on stage, and all the visuals behind them , screen, etc....don't think we could fit everything up there at once... Mr. Musicface
Hey I listened to the first track Trippin , nice! I like the almost hip-hop vocal styles with the groovy-jazz feel under it. Sweeet! These guys playing the t-dot anytime soon? Peace, - Mr. M.
bouche
Trippin is very cool, and it gets into your head. Just ask Ms. Hux.
