MarcO
These guys are coming to Hamilton at the end of November and I think I'm going to check 'em out. I like what I've heard about them. Anybody else seen them before? Any thoughts? And is anybody else thinking of going to this gig? Happy Halloween!
Booche
Personally, I really enjoyed their groove. They got deep inside. BUT, there was a little too much rapping for my taste. It is somewhat like Arrested Development (well, it reminded me of them)....but when they groove, they groove....
SaggyBalls
i Loved bullfrog. they didn't stray frm the groove but that's what such a band is about. mellow funk hop. i wouldn't listen to that solely but listen to the beatnuts...a lot of hip hop sticks with the groove.not just lyrically but thematically they're a hip hop group. they do jam though. and totally get into the groove. Jaimoe
Bullfrog's new cd got a good review in Rolling Stone last month. Good for them!

gentlemonkey
They definitley have a deep groove. They just dont seem to stray from it too much. They sort of have a similar pace to all their tunes too. I found myself getting a little bored by midset.. Kid koala is amazing, but he is only highlighted in a few tunes, but he gets busy after the bullfrog set. Also, I thought the rapper sounded like a Q-tip wanna be. worth checking out though.
