i didn't go, but i had the privilege of drunken boys coming home at 2.30 and telling me how much i should have been there....(i hated the thought of alphies).....anyway i guess the theme of the second set was new years 1984. video killed the radio star. money for nothing.

i'm sure there's a booche review to come later. or a bouche review. i was expecting an incoherant booche review when i checked in this morning. but he must be on a park bench somewhere.

i wish i had gone.

Money Aint For Nothing and I want my BnB....

That had to be my favorite cover last night. Juicey steak. We listened to them being inteviewed on CFRC and we heard them say they were going to play 11 new songs. We figured there might be a tribute album, but instead, we got a tribute year, New Years 1984. What were they called last night, Stink Rotten?...It was pretty 'tricky' in there.......but I am with Doggy, how can people think these guys need a break because there music is tired? You dont get to see bands of that caliber too often.

curious....

what was the band introduced as?

On CFRC, the dude axed them what they were listening to on the ride up or something, and the response was (a band I've never heard of and cannot remember the name). Then, when they were introduced for the '84 set, I SWEAR that it was the same name as the band mentioned on Queen's radio.
