cheesehead
Ok Fellas i think we're getting a lil off track: Rules. #1) It has to be only 6 members. Pick your instruments, and your SIX musicians. No one said it would be easy. #2) They have to be able to Jam. I.e - steve vai and Pete Townshend, ok great musicians, but not about to bust into a YEM or a 'Round the wheel. You have to be able to picture them in a jam. None of this 24 member band nonsense! mikey d
Keys - John Medeski Bass - Chris Wood Drums - Billy Martin Guitar - John Scofield Turntables - Kid Koala Sax - Maceo Parker The first 4 are just the Agogo lineup, but I find that album to be the best combination of 4 musicians I have ever heard. When MMW play with a DJ, usualy Logic, I love it so I wanted to throw at DJ into the mix. Kid Koala is my favourite turntablist so I added him. This lineup would definately get funky and I would want a horn player who can get damn funky so there's no one else to choose but Maceo. I don't know how well this would work, but I'd expect it to be interesting at the least.
