This is interesting... a list of everyone who has sung the national anthem in superbowls past... you can see how the commercialism grew as the years went on -- i think the pledge of allegiance by astronauts in 69 and 70 is very interesting - probably after returning from the moon, eh?

How bout this...

Can the x-files now cause it sucks and noone really cares anymore move The Family guy to the sunday night 9pm slot and the tick to 9:30pm because they are more adult oriented shows anyway.. I agree that the simpson's should end its run soon (although this season is beginning to gain momentum and bit IMO)but the x-files really does suck shit and should have ended five years ago...

yes. it's obvious that it all started with supermodel/musician Ladd.

But what's the deal with Mariah? I thought that she's been easing herself into the hasbeen world like whitney. I'm actually suprised they didn't snap up madonna or jessica "mmmmmmm tasty" simpson.

Speaking of the Simpson's, I propose that Fox CANS IT, and put the Family guy in that slot. they should also move King of the Hill to thursday's 8:30 and put the tick on leadin to the family guy. I still love Futurama, so if they hang on to that, they have me on sunday's up until 10...well, until the X-files is gone this year. It seems like they are going to have a lot of wide open spaces.
