PassedOutGuy Posted February 17, 2002 Report Share Posted February 17, 2002 if youre spending the week in town then The Rose and Crown is the place to be... unless ur really unlucky you will catch some great funky music there... always have great bands and most nights there is no cover at all... great pool games there as well... all the big shooters in town usually play there... Akron Posted February 18, 2002 Report Share Posted February 18, 2002 Haven't been there in a few years, but the best places for live tunes were 1. The Barbary Coast, and 2. The Rose & Crown. And yeah, the Drake in Canmore is awesome fer sure. Make sure you find the Pump and Tap (aka the "Hump n' Slap") Pub in the basement of the Bear St. Mall.
