CyberHippie
Wow, pretty short setlist, Guess I wasn't too far off for the second set. It would have been nice to have a little peanut butter to go with all that JAM! Baadum dum... 7/16/2002 Darien Lake Performing Arts Center - Darien Center, NY (Tue.) 1: Outside Inside > I Know You Rider, Got What He Wanted, Water, Up the Canyon, Lonesome Fiddle Blues, Crosstown Traffic 2: Rivertrance > Galactic > Rivertrance, The Joker, Bluegrass Instrumental, It Is What It Is > Jam > Texas E: Search

CyberHippie
Too bad you guys had to leave early, hope Brandon is doing ok. 2nd set was marvelous... You caught some of the Rivertrance opener, that went on for quite some time. Is their such thing as a Rivertrance Reprise? Ummm what else? I wish I could scrape the resin out of my head... There was a crazy, crazy Texas that wrapped up the set, that went on for a considerable amount of time, with lots of ambient dark jamming that at times corresponded with the fireworks that were going on! Miraculous! Just waiting for the setlist to be posted to figure out the rest! Good seeing you, can't wait to see some of your pics!
Guest
Did either of you duders catch Femi Kuti's opening set? What'd you think? (if you saw it). Here's Eye Magazine's review of the Toronto Femi show.
CyberHippie
I saw the Femi set. I've never been much of a great a reviewer, but I can say that it was pretty awsome, and I'd definetly see them again. I have no idea what they played, but it was fun, and had a lot of great energy!
