mark tonin
Booche ... you're the man!!! Willis Motel Cabins Inc 2545 N Opdyke Rd 248-373-6682 Can someone call and get some info?
Hux
My plan of attack will likely be the, get cheap rooms in Windsor, make the treck over for the show, then back for the party. Have done this for several Doggie shows, and it makes for less party favour issues, ie. you leave "everything" in Ont. then hit it hard late night after the show....the only issus is it requiers a DD...usually not a prob.... Booche
DrH, abandon that idea if everyone gets cabins at the Ole Willis Abode. Trust me. If a few people are making that run, I may gbott. We would have too much fun in those cabins.

backbacon
So I just heard from my friend, Kairn, who lives close to the Palace, here's what she had to say: >>> anyways, i don't think those willis cabins exist anymore. i searched all thru the phone book and on the internet and couldn't find any listings. and i drove by today looking for it where the map showed it should be and there's no cabins anywhere around that area. it's all office buildings and such. i looked for other cabins in the area and couldn't really find any. there's a campground that rents cabins, but it's quite a ways north, off the same exit where we camped after Phil and ABB back in June. i think that'll be too far of a drive considering how messed we'll prolly be after the show. <<< So I'm going to book at a hotel. Most likely the Holiday Inn, where Tonin has booked already: $80 USD - 2 dbls. http://reservations.lodging.com/servlet/PropertyInformation/HI_DTTAH/ ALthough the Best Western down the road is $60 USD - 2 dbls: http://www.lodging.com/cgi-bin/netrate_affiliate.cgi?remote=&url=http://www.lodging.com/destinations/detroit/bestwestern-palace/template/&ID=253066 Both have indo swimming! What's everyone thinking?
Booche
Wow, thank Kairn for that investigative reporting. Too bad the cabins are no longer. Looks like, I will only be hitting Albany, as long as they announce tickets soon...........
backbacon
Shoot, y'all should still make the trip down. It looks like the Best Western is the place we'll be partyin. It's only about 1.5 km away. Get juiced around the pool and trek on over to the Palace. I'm going to reserve later today. FUN.
Ms.Huxtable
When do the tickets go on sale? Any details on pricing released yet?
backbacon
I reckon tickets to be about $40 USD each. Hopefully not too much more. The last day for Ratdog mail order was this past Monday. I figure we'll here about TOO mail order very soon. Next week perhaps. IMPORTANT: So the Best Western that I've found is actually at 2755 South Lapeer Rd. Lake Orion, MI 2755 Lapeer Rd - Auburn Hills! It's about 7 km away north of The Palace. I didn't book there. The Holiday in is looking good.
