I mean, I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of sentimental stories about being at shows and hearing them, but when it comes right down to it -- straight up -- what's the best phish tune? It's my favourite one of all these little emotiocons above, so I always use it. I've always done it, too. I'm weird that way. Anyhoo, my favourite, hands down is The Sloth. treyter Posted October 10, 2002 Report Share Posted October 10, 2002 hahaha! boochard....you slay me. i have to say Haley's Comet (AKA: Hell Is Coming) is my favorite tune, and has been for a while....nice fun lyrics, with alternates, solid groove, not overplayed, and that part when they start the jam, with all those "build-up" chord changes, then the JAM which is almost certain to be an adventure. A lot of the "Rift" album ("Rift", "Horn", "It's Ice") is on my favourites list as well. "The Squirming Coil" is one of re-charge songs; I love the way it builds.
