They went through a whole bunch of statistics, and said the pot trade in BC is estimated at $6 billion annually. If you do the math, as the CBC did, the GST the government could collect on that $6 billion annually would be $420 million. The States should be thinking about the same legislation and getting some people out of their prison system and back into the economy.
