·SYB has opened for an incredibly diverse group of National Acts, including: Ray Charles, BB King, moe., The Wailers, Derek Trucks Band, Little Feat, Noel Redding and John Entwistle Band.

·SYB went international in 2001 when Italian music magazine, "Buscadero" discovered the band and got together with "Only a Hobo Productions" to bring SYB overseas for 2 month-long tours of Italy and Switzerland.

·SYB was originally a 5 piece called "Seth Yacovone Blues Band". The band dropped the "blues" from the name in 2000, shortly after slimming down to the current trio configuration (scroll down to meet the band members).

·SYB has played over 900 shows in 8 years.

·Seth made headlines in 1998 when fellow Vermonters "Phish" invited him on stage for 2 songs at the Worcester Centrum in MA. They jammed "All the Pain through the Years", a Seth original, and the classic "Derek and the Dominoes" tune, "Layla" to end the first set.

·SYB has released 5 albums to date. The latest, "In a Moment", and all the others can be had at www.homegrownmusic.net. Also, the band has tons of free music available for download on our audio page.
