He dies on Sept. 7, 1978 at age 32, from an overdose of the sedative Heminevrin. I never saw Keith Moon, obviously since I was born in 1974, but he's in the top ten of people I wish I could have witnessed on stage. I hope he's resting in peace. On a side note I saw Rush last night perform The Who's "The Seeker" and a version of "Summertime Blues" that was obviously influenced by the Who.
