I hadn't read through the whole Guitar World article but just got to the part where he talks about the first days after the hiatus:

The day after the hiatus began, I sat down and worked eight hours a day orchestrating "Gayute." That's the first time I had ever stopped working on Phish. Ever.

Do you mean that orchestral thing he did with Guyute? I understand what he means, but Guyute is still a Phish song, whether it's played with Phish or not... I mean, he wrote a bunch of solo stuff for Trey Band before the hiatus as well... I read about half of that article, it's pretty good.
