zero
I hadn't read through the whole Guitar World article but just got to the part where he talks about the first days after the hiatus: The day after the hiatus began, I sat down and worked eight hours a day orchestrating "Gayute." That's the first time I had ever stopped working on Phish. Ever.
Del
Do you mean that orchestral thing he did with Guyute? I understand what he means, but Guyute is still a Phish song, whether it's played with Phish or not... I mean, he wrote a bunch of solo stuff for Trey Band before the hiatus as well... I read about half of that article, it's pretty good.
zero
It's the orchestral thing he's talking about I just thought it was hilarious it was misprinted as Gayute, almost makes you think a copy editor let that slip intentionally. boogieknight
I hope trey takes a break from playing music for a while. i think a real vaction from the spot light would do him some good.
MarcO
Boogieknight, I agree. There's clearly something up with the man. I wish him health and happiness. Guyute represents the side of Phish I am so glad they moved away from in their latter years. Not so big on the "prog"-rock side of Phish.
