paisley Posted November 25, 2004 Report Share Posted November 25, 2004 doc saves rabies girl with breakthrough treatment once the symptoms of rabies set in the disease is nearly 100% fatal... this doctor wouldn't accept that and reasoned that since rabies makes the brain attack the body he would stop the girl's brain by inducing a coma so it couldn't do any harm and let her immune system fight off the virus, saving her lifecool reminder that the impossible isn't always impossible Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
