shainhouse
This piece doesn't focus on one individual band. Instead, it explain the concept of seamless sets to someone who's never see it before. hope you like it- http://www.msu.mcmaster.ca/shared/external.php?url=/sil/

Mr. Musicface
Hey, here's a question I've been wondering - what are the first bands that actually did seamless sets? The earliest ones I ever heard of were Blues Traveler/Spin Doctors back when they were both club bands in NYC, early '90s. I think this is the earliest one on record: http://www.bluestraveler.net/archive/date/1990/052690.html Anybody know of bands doing it before that? Peace, Mr. M. bouche
Back in 1966 the Beatles did a tour of Japan and played the famed Budokan Hall. THey performed the world's first ever set blender with Jackie Yoshikawa and the Blue Comets. The show lasted a solid 40 minutes.

Mr. Musicface
Yeh! Although they don't mention the seamless-ness(-ness) - I'm guessing you read about that aspect in a book or something? - M.
