Busted break-up is "inevitable"

Wednesday, January 12 2005, 13:54 GMT -- by Daniel Saney

After months of speculation about the future of boyband Busted it seems that they are finally on their way out.

Charlie Simpson has made it known that he is more than willing to quit the Air Hostess band in favour of his other, more credible band, Fightstar.

Fightstar are about to embark upon a UK tour to promote their debut EP They Liked You Better When You Were Dead.

Ananova reports that the band members have not spoken since their Wembley appearance three weeks ago and quotes a source as saying: "Things are so bad between the boys at the moment that they all realise a split is inevitable.

"Charlie has never really hung out with Matt or James. None of them are close, you have to remember the band were put together."

I just hope it doesn't happen. They had so much soul...but good things aren't meant to last forever....

It really does bring a tear to your eye, especially in light of you and Teo's whirlwind relationship...

I'm still busted up about that one. I took your suggestion and tried PM him and he won't reply for some reason.

Those 9 days we had were wonderful. But it's in the past right now. All water under the bridge. The timing wasn't right. Maybe our age differences was simply too much a hurdle. Maybe his freinds were talking sh!t about me to him. I don't know. All I know is that

No man, No cry.

And it's better that way. I was thinking about doing a female take on that old Wyclef Jean song.

No, bald man, no cry;

No, bald man, no cry;

No, bald man, no cry;

No, bald man, no cry.

Said - said - said: I remember when we used to sit

In the government yard in bytowne,

Oba - obaserving the ’jam communitites

As they would mingle with the good people we meet.

Good friends we have, oh, good friends we’ve lost

Along the way.

In this great future, you can’t forget your past;

So dry your tears, I seh.

No, sexy bald man, no cry;

No, sexy bald man, no cry.

’ere, little brother’, don’t shed no tears:

No, man, no cry.

I remember when we used to sit

In the government yard in bytowne.

And then lizzie would make the fire lights,

As it was logwood burnin’ through the nights.

Then we would cook poutine,

Of which I’ll share with you;

My feet is my only carriage,

So I’ve got to push on through.

But while I’m gone:

No, TEO man, no cry;

No, TEO, no cry.

Man, Big super bald stud’, say don’t shed no tears;

No, TEO, no cry.

Eh! (sexy bald baby’, don’t shed no tears!

No, man, no cry.

Big Brother, don’t shed no tears!

No, TEO, no cry.)

All I need now is a band.
