Composer’s Workshop, a six-piece jazz band, plays every Monday night from 7-9 at the Poor Alex on Bloor & Brunswick. They play an experimental, free-flowing, new sound (not your average tea party jazz). The Poor Alex is a dark, intimate atmosphere. (Although the word 'experimental' doesn't always have good connotations for me). I'm really excited about tonight! There're gonna be keys along with my favourite flute player!!
