This will be a wicked show - Kobayashi was one of the first bands I was introduced to when I moved to montreal a few years back and still one of my favorite local acts. Killer grooves, singing, you name it. They do a wicked cover of Gillespie's "Night in Tunisia" - which, coincidently, is what got me hooked on the band.

And Lazlo - as far as I know we're playing PJC on Friday the 25th, not the 26th.

BTP= Beyond the Pale is a contemporary acoustic fusion band rooted in klezmer and east European folk music, but influenced by everything from jazz and classical music to bluegrass, reggae, funk, and more. Intricate, virtuosic, organic, contemporary, explosive, and above all, unique.
