Manervous Beat is an assemblage of Toronto's top studio musicians performing original improvised tunes. Groovacious beats and funky grooves s are mixed with pop, rock and jazz electricity. Kevin Clark is presently the music director for the Distillery District, Toronto's new centre for the arts, culture and entertainment. www.thedistillerydistrict.com

He is receiving rave reviews for his Jazz Kitchen cooking show in New Orleans and Toronto (including the food network Canada) by combining two traditional favourites-Southern Jazz and Southern Cooking.

Kevin is an artist/clinician/consultant for Yamaha Corporation in the U.S. and Canada. Yamaha distributes Kevin's own blend of valve oil called "Viper Oil" which is endorsed by leading brass players in North America. www.yamaha.com/band

His performance career has landed him positions, chronologically, as trumpeter with Barnum & Bailey Circus (three years); Trumpeter/bandleader/conductor/composer/talent booking/consultant with Walt Disney Productions on both coasts (twelve years); trumpeter/arranger/producer for the Dukes of Dixieland and New Orleans Nightcrawlers (ten years) in New Orleans.

Kevin has toured the United States, Europe, South America, Russia, Asia, Middle East, the Carribean, Bermuda, and Canada.

Voted "top 25 living New Orleans trumpeters" by Gambit Weekly.
