Jaimoe
Just watched Donnie Darko last night. Pretty intense stuff, astonishing cinematography. Recommended. What version? I recommend the original version. It holds more mysteries and is the reason why it is a cult movie.
MarcO
alas, we rented the Director's Cut.
Jaimoe
The Director's Cut is really good, but it answers the questions that made the original film so intriguing. Both versions are must-sees however. I think Donnie Darko is easily one of the best cult films of the last 10 years.

Ms.Huxtable
Velvet call us. We rented it from Blockbuster but can hold onto it for a few days longer. (I LOVE the no late fees thing!) Dinner and a movie? Howler?
Booche
"(I LOVE the no late fees thing!)" But if it is a week late, they make you pay for the movie. Its one of those 'fine line' thingies.
bouche
The audio on all the extended LOTR's movies are the best I've ever heard. The best audio for a concert film by far is Led Zeppelin's recent DVD. It wasn't just the audio. I had to go through the colour, tint, contrast and brightness settings on the tv too. It took me 10 minutes, but it was worth it. I'm pretty sure I could watch it again this soon....
badams
I get my movies through zip.ca. For $30 a month I get unlimited rentals. I can have 4 movies at a time. I just set up my list and they send them as quick as I send them back. I received 26 last month so it's a pretty good price. Yeah I watch a lot of movies, I have nothing else to do

I think this is one of my all time fave movies to see....except for the time I was alone in the woods, middle of the night, tottally fried and someone tried to break in...that was intense! ::
