TomFoolery
If any of the Ottawa skids are looking for some pre-Wassabi / pre-Spades entertainment, my band is playing our first gig in Ottawa tonight. Corduroy Road (5 piece) does bluegrass standards with a slight bluesy twist and some bluesy twists with a bit of bluegrass flavour. We're scheduled for 9pm at the Rochester Pub. We'll be doing 2 sets. I'm hoping to escape in time for the end of Wassabi myself... Hope everyone has a great weekend! TF

TomFoolery
I haven't spoken with the owner about cover. None of us in the band care about making money off it - we've told him we play for beer. I think he mentioned back when I first spoke with him about this show that he usually charges $2 then that's the band's $$ - we told him we just want beers so who knows what he'll do. Maybe he'll put that toward our bar bill :-)
Booche
Make sure you chuck your empties from the stage into the audience. That is TRUE bluegrassmanship on display. Oh yeah, and it is a requirement to be almost seeing double when you start the set. Rockon
