TheGoodRev
Holy shit! This is awesome, but it makes for a pricey Friday with Toronto and London ABB tickets, and Zooma tickets going on sale at the same time...yeesh.
ollie
Anyone know the pre-sale password for London this Wednesday?Couldn't find the Toronto date on Ticketmaster.ca, anyone have a link? Thanks so much.
ollie
Just thinking (and obsessing)... would the show at the JLC be general admission floor? I saw Peter Gabriel there two years ago and it was assigned seating but I'm thinking they might know people will want to dance for the Brothers. Freak By Night
Hmm... it's not on the allmanbrothersband.com website yet.For the Toronto show it says "Watch for on-sale date".That means, if you find out the on-sale date, and you're the first one to e-mail it in to them, you get a free watch! Absolute_Route
Can anyone fill me in on what this venue is like? I can only go to one ABB show and I live in between T.O and London. Thoughts on where the better show would be?
Swan
the thought os seeing the Allmans in an arena is exciting but its hard to beat a $10 lawn seat in TO
Chewie
Can anyone fill me in on what this venue is like? I can only go to one ABB show and I live in between T.O and London. Thoughts on where the better show would be?London would be easier to get in and out of (traffic) and parking would be free for the most part (on the street) but the tix are more expensive...but in theory you could get waay closer to the stage in londoni was just thinking that out of the 20 plus times i've seen the abb, i've never seen them indoors. elemeno
if you have never seen the brothers indoors its for sure worth it. i'll take an outdoor show any day of the week. but when you see the ABB play indoors the show takes on a different feel. i guess because the have more control over the lighting indoors and they tend to use the big screens and liquid lights the entire show. scottieking
Man I am torn on this one. I'm not sure if I have the time to go to both. I HAVE to support the home town show. The sound in JLC is top notch as well. Really well designed. I hope the people get down for moe. (I still can't believe they're playing London!!!) ollie
According to the JLC web site, there ain't gonna be a lotta of space but a pretty good view from just about anywhere. Anyone seen this configuration?http://www.johnlabattcentre.com/calendar/082005-17.html RBC Theatre at The John Labatt Centre
guigsy
ya, i've seen that configuration before... i saw david copperfield there and it was set up like that... gonna be pretty small and intimate... interesting... maybe they figured they couldnt justify using the whole place in LONDON.. fuckit, they should just rock the park!!edit: but yeah, you're right ollie - there really isnt a bad seat at all with that setup.
