Jaimoe Posted June 16, 2005 Report Share Posted June 16, 2005 Mayer sang and traded off leads with Scofield ( and it looked like Steve Jordan on drums ) on a song from Scofield's latest release, " I Don't Need No Doctor ".Anyway, I liked the performance. Mayer seemed poised, ( it helps that he is cocky as hell ) and stuck to blues, while Scofield stayed in a funk/jazz groove.Nice work. I still don't like Mayer, but he's getting better.
