Joseph Spence (left) was a Bahamian guitarist and vocalist. Raymond Pinder (right) was Spence’s brother-in-law and fellow vocalist. Folklorist Sam Charters was the first to record Spence on his own back porch in 1958 and an album was released on the Folkways label in 1959.

Found this too, considering I'm so out of touch, I assume this is new as well - the video was posted on yt same day.
