SmoothedShredder
Must... find... new... team... identity. My New Top line would be Heatley Fisher Scheafer Number two is Varada Eaves Kelly Three: Smolinski Neil McGratten Four: Schubert Martins I can't wait until our top two lines return from injury Good on Mezaros for returning after taking a shot like that in the foot... It's going to be a tough run leading up to the olympics, but perhaps it will remove the giant target that the Sens have had on their Jerseys since the start of the year. Leafs still suck... they should get Babcock to manage their team... he's been much better since the Arujo incident.

SmoothedShredder
I'll assume you're talking about blowing the 3-0 lead to Phoenix... this is the Sens Thread though, and we're still tops... finally coming out of that slump. Those were some great line changes TonightAlfie Smolinski and Scheafer were great... controlled the puck on the boards for 12% of the game... if Smolinski could shake the cobwebs off his stick, it's all over.Neil Varada and Fisher are playing 2nd Line Hockey right now.Vermette with Heatley was a nice looking combo... and since they got away without playing Schubert and McGratten for half the game, I think things are looking up in O-town... Freak By Night
I just heard rumour that Spezza will be back in the lineup for tonight's game. Prediction: I'll be eating complimentary pizza tomorrow. Sens 6 Ducks 2.

Freak By Night
Prediction: I'll be eating complimentary pizza tomorrow. Sens 6 Ducks 2. Sorry for jinxing the game folks... not eating pizza today, just a slice of humble pie!
dave-O
For such a high scoring team, the Sens look pathetic in the shoot out. Have they all been told not to deke? Somebody other than Havlat and Speeza must have some moves on that team...

Freak By Night
Just got an email from by brother in Toronto, with his reaction to last night's game (He's a huge leafs fan) Figure I'd save you the trouble in case you have writer's block; just some observations on last night's big game at the Corel. Taped it, and watched when I got home from a function.1. Paging Mats Sundin...paging Mats Sundin...anyone see Mats Sundin...anyone...?2. Ironically enough, Belfour's GAA against Ottawa actually improves.3. Toronto's 1st Star.... Darcy Tucker!4. When you hit the fast forward button on the remote, the Leafs are almost as fast as the Senators.5. What? Only seven?p.s. Go Flames Go!

dave-O
It's a good thing the Sens have so many games left against Pittsburgh, seems to be the only team they can beat these days.Beauty clean hit by Oprik, he was shaken up too. There hasn't been any update on Kelly's condition.
SmoothedShredder
I mean in hockey, you don't get a more "powerful" style of hit... open ice, full stride, perpendicular contact shoulder to sternum, both guys stop, or more accurately bounce directly backwards. Not pretty. But oddly makes me glad I'm not in the big leagues.
SmoothedShredder
The way the Sens played tonight, they couldn't even beat the Leaves. If Spezza keeps it up, he'll be the last person they add off the Taxi squad. What's the deal with only 2minutes for the Turnbuckle on Varada though? That was mean. SmoothedShredder
At the corperate olympics the Sens would take the gold. I can't wait for Heatley to turn it up for us in the playoffs! Hoswho?
SmoothedShredder
In the Tampa game tonight... Mike Fisher hit Daryl Sydor into the boards, and broke the boards. Not too shabby! Edit to add: looks like the Zebra's are going to get the win tonight. Edited March 15, 2006 by Guest
Freak By Night
Yeah! Just got home from the most exciting game I've seen this season! Alfie scores with 5 seconds left. Woohoo!Worst officiating. Ever.
SmoothedShredder
I was expecting to get shat on for blaming the refs... what a fun finish! I can't remember the last time I've seen the Sens come back from two deficits in a single game. Not in their character, but I like it!
