can-o-phish
Nice to see that there is a shred of dignity and morals in Canada...http://www.cbc.ca/story/arts/national/2005/08/04/Arts/Karla050804.htmlI hope this movie never sees the shelves of Blockbuster or any other establishment.I'm all for "freedom of speech", but most of us know of this horrific tragedy and certainly don't need a movie to give further "insight". The way that these girls died has no place in a movie.
Cully
I know that this is terrible, absolutely terrible, but what difference is there between this movie, and any other "horror" movie based on real events (there are too many to mention). In no way do I support this movie....just a thought.
can-o-phish
No difference at all Cully. To profit off of something as sickening as these events is something I cannot relate to. The news is hard enough to watch at times, why do we need some twisted version that is capitalizing on human suffering and grief.I was angry when I first heard of this film and angrier when I heard it was going to screen in Montreal. So a little relieved when I read this article.
zero
This is just idiotic. The film's producer, Michael Sellers, has offered an exclusive screening for families of the victims. The film's more explicit scenes have already been edited out, he says.
