Esau
The Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra (PERRO) was a loose affiliation of musicians who recorded many sessions at Wally Heider’s Studio. This recording is a collection of some of those sessions. The personnel on this recording include: Jerry Garcia, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, David Crosby, Paul Kantner, David Freiberg, Mickey Hart, Grace Slick, Graham Nash, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Spencer Dryden. I used to list this as 2-0-1971, but I recently broke it down by the actual recording dates for historical purposes. The PERRO Sessions recording circulating is comprised of these sessions: 1-2-1971Walkin' In The MountainsIs It Really MondayYou Sit ThereLoserOver Jordan1-3-1971The Mountain SongThe Mountain SongThe Mountain SongThe Mountain Song1-14-1971Leather Winged BatJorma And Jerry Jam12-13-1970The Wall Song1-14-1971The Wall Song (acoustic)1-11-1971Eep HourDope RapPiano Solo11-4-1970Shuffle1-14-1971Jorma And Jerry JamBill Parry, Steve Rowland and Stephen Barncard have collaborated on a wonderful in-depth history about this recording. The genealogy of this recording is MSR (16 track) > 1st generation reels (2 track) > DAT and it’s 106 minutes in length. http://www.thejerrysite.com/FAQ.jsp#PERROor try here for more detailed info...http://www.philzone.com/philbase/perro.html

DevO
From scanning over some info found on the web (and Esau's links) I'm not convinced that Neil Young is on the Perro Tapes. It was listed that way on the bit torrent found on oink.
