bradm Posted September 1, 2005 Report Share Posted September 1, 2005 I was there in Manhattan in December, 2003 for a couple of days, and happened to find that Tower Records has a rack of CDs in the jazz section of artists who are in town, with info on where they're playing and when. I skipped the entertainment papers (of which there were a bunch), because they were just so thick and dense, that I had no idea how to discover what I really wanted to see. (For example, the rack at Tower let me know that Bill Frisell Trio was playing at the Village Vanguard during my stay, so I took the A train down to Greenwich Village to catch them. ) Aloha, Brad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
