Birdy Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 poker sucks. i hate how it is the most popular sport *cough* out there. i hate how i go over to my friends houses and watch as they all sit around the hugest table playing the hugest game of poker. i hate that i have to bide my time waiting as they individually lose out just to have a little bit of conversation. i hate that i have to screw them over and reveal their cards, just because i want a little bit of conversation. i hate that i have to share a computer with a person who loves to play online poker. i hate that i have to share a tv with a person who loves to watch televised poker. i hate getting in arguments about the logistics and academics of poker and why it is even a sport. i hate how my family chooses to have the jacklin invitational poker tournament every christmas eve and refuses to allow women to join. i hate sitting upstairs with all the women talking womanly things while all the men sit downstairs, smoking their big fat cubans and playing POKER. i long for the days of the jacklin invitational ping pong tournament and miss the "finisher" (my paddle). poker ruined me.and yes, i said the words, "i hate".
