Davey Boy 2.0
Joe Cole will not face disciplinary action at Chelsea after apparently being beaten up at a party early on Sunday morning. Jose Mourinho had given the players two days off after Saturday's FA Cup defeat of Huddersfield and Cole broke no rules by going to a nightclub and then to a party hosted by the page 3 model Keeley Hazell. He was allegedly assaulted there but has trained since Tuesday and will not take action against his assailant. A spokesman denied Cole had had a relationship with Hazell and said: "Joe went back to a party at Keeley's house with a group of people. He was assaulted by another man. He left the party and got a taxi home. He did not receive medical treatment." _______________________ Joe Cole has reportedly suffered a savage beating after trying to chat up Page 3 girl Keeley Hazell. A 'love rival' gave Cole such a thrashing that the Chelski and England midfielder 'was almost unrecognisable', says The Sun. The paper, who regularly present the considerable charms of the lovely Keeley, says that Cole jumped out of a window in a bid to escape, 'covered in cuts and bruises and dripping blood.' Cole’s shirt was reportedly ripped off in the struggle, and along the way he also managed to lose his mobile phone and money. And also, somewhat more unfathomably, his shoes. The contretemps is said to have kicked-off on Saturday night when Cole and West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand - who, according to reports elsewhere, has the pleasure of dating the aforementioned Ms Hazell - went back to the Page 3 girl’s house after a night out. According to the Sun, 'Former hairdresser Keeley had made no secret in the past of the fact she fancies diminutive Cole. 'They were chatting closely when another guest butted in. A source said: "It all went off. It was late and everyone had downed a few drinks. Joe and Keeley were getting on well but another admirer copped the right hump about it."' Although, from the sounds of it, it’s Cole who actually copped it.
