Hal Johnson
I mean, its cool that Roger's wants to pour money into the team and all, but shit, I think they went a little over the top with their advertising campaign inside the Dome. I wasnt there - but I noticed from the T.V shots, that the place is completely dripping with Rogers logos. As if the average fan doesnt know whos running the show. Arent Southern Ontarians already slave enough to their shitty cable subscriptions that we can be spared the barrage of their classless marketing campaigns? I heard Godfrey on the radio all week talking about the improvements they've made to the inside, then ever so convientiently slip in the fact that there's a Rogers store inside the building. I understand this is a business and that its entertainment and all, but what ever happened to subtlety? I dont know, just put me off is all. Other than that, good game for the Toronto Rogers's

Other than that, good game for the Toronto Rogers'sI was at the "game" last night. The advertising is actually less obvious or should I say, more artistic than it was last year. The improvments are pretty noticable. The 100 level concourse has more of a warm tone and is noticably brighter and fan friendly. I've heard the 200 level has changed noticably too - you can see some of this when you look behind home-plate.You can tell they sunk a lot of money into concessions and cosmetic furnishings. The concrete look and feel has diminished in a big way. Overall, the park is on the path to becoming acceptable as a baseball venue. There's allegedly more changes coming in the next few years too. Hal Johnson
Thanks, thats cool to know. My dad also told me that they added a kids area so I can take my 2yr old, and if he gets bored, there's a place for him to play. Time to hit the boss up for those company seats... Jaimoe
The food has been upgraded too. There's a wine menu and beer stands seem to be everywhere, offering more than just Bud. I guess they sunk the most money into the boxes and 200 level, but the 100 looks good too.
