Dr_Evil_Mouse
Please send some of that this way. It's gray and cold up here. (That's probably for the better, actually; I'm marking all day and would hate to wrestle with the temptation of sitting on a patio drinking beer or anything so pleasant ). Jaimoe
Who cares about the Kyoto Protocol with this kind of May weather?
can-o-phish
Well, I wish I was on a patio but instead I'm sitting in my editing suite cutting SFX for a cartoon...but I do have two windows on either side of me looking out at the slowly dissapearing Toronto landscape as it's being Condo-ized... According to my Desktop the powers that be are calling for a high of 22 today and I'm thinkin' we'll reach that easily after yesterday... Nice thing about this time of year is that the sky is actually blue and not that fuggin' yellow-blue-grey-sick-ish smog colour
Dr_Evil_Mouse
I was having to explain smog to our elder daughter yesterday; the phrase "brown soup that hung in the air over Toronto" brought the meaning home. I haven't yet observed what the smog in Ottawa is like, though. Nanticoke is at that much more of a remove.

Dr_Evil_Mouse
So I ended up going out to have a beer and do some marking, and then suddenly it got warmer. I'll claim a direct cause-effect relation right there .
