I don't know what were the mud was. Maybe you muddy-sayers are losing your high-end hearing range?

I really enjoy the fact that I can freely move around among 2200 people. I once had to wait 30 seconds to pee last night. No problems pissing.

My only complaint would have to be the beer selection and pricing, but it is the Congress Center after all. They have wedding beer prices.

the sound wasn't stellar and i wasn't drinking - i never even left the room so i dunno about all that stuff, but i (agree with bouche that) i like the room cause there's space to move and you can stand up and dance but it's not packed and smoky. and the carpet was nice too ;)

Amazing pics Mike!

The Congress Centre has always been a loud venue. Unnecessarily so. When I saw A Perfect Circle there I thought my ears would bleed.

it's not unnatural to have funny ears after any concert and a night here and there isn't going to give you long term damage. I learned that from an ear specialist that I visited after getting BLASTED at the New Earth Mud and Gov't Mule show in toronto a couple of years back. We were seated at the main speakers and my ears were buzzing all night afterwards.

good times though!

examples in that article that make me cringe, and want to notify the grammar slammer:

"Congress Centre among 2,200 of their tunes-appreciating fans"

"Robinson, with his trippy dance moves and love for the mic stand, looks like every clinging-to-his-youth hippy cliche there is."

In the end the Black Crowes were utterly tight

The thing to keep in mind about any of the Sun newspapers: the cover price is 25 cents - worth every penny.

To keep the price low, they have to skimp on proofreaders, editors, and fact-checkers.

Thanks, ollie, that's the first comment I've had on the sound quality. I listened to it last night while I was tracking it, and felt it sounded good, but wasn't really sure. (It sounded better than at the show, but that's largely due to me having had ear plugs in for the whole show.)

Aloha,

Brad

By the way. Got home to a message on my machine before the show, called the lad back and it was TimmyB. He decided after the London show he had to make the trip here, in case they played LA. He said he wouldnt have been able to forgive himself if they had.

Well done Timmy. Well done.

Wish I could have seen you but that dvd I made you ended up in good hands.

oh dear Lord, Timmy........ :o

Umm' date=' you should probably rethink that comment and look in the mirror, or at least the volume knob on your amp whenever you 'jam' in your basement.
