now just a minute - He was one of the first but definitely not the best. For that you have to turn to Gert Wilden - this man is the shit, and did the music for 40-50 movies, including a 13 disc series called 'Schoolgirl Report' -

IF Klaus is the Mozart, surely this guy is Beethoven and Jimmy Page's bastard child....

And the label that re-released the best of the Schulmadchen report has a great name even - 'Crippled Dick Hot Wax'

Jump on Amazon, have a listen to a couple samples and judge for yourself - it's like sleazier Led Zeppelin with distorto guitars and organs in a campy style...This is one of my fave discs in my entire collection!

ah yeah that mix is heavy on his stuff...also Jess Franco's Spanish film 'Vampyros Lesbos' is pretty fun and raunchy(and psychedelic) and has a couple germans behind it - Manfred Hubler & Siegfried Schwab. This is probably the best known of the 'Sexadelic' 60's/70's compilations...also known as 'Horrotica'

...hmmm I actually have a whole shelf of european porn and italian police films soundtracks... It really is amazing stuff. Jerry Van Rooyen is another very well known composer, Dutch - a great compilation is 'At 250 Miles an Hour'...actually, the write-up on it at crippleds web site is fantastic and provides some great background on Necronomicon (Succubus around here) - the film that started it all...

Born in Baden in 1941, Klaus Harmony was the foremost German composer of erotik film scores in the 1970’s, crafting music for over nine classic movies in just thirteen years. In collaboration with filmmaker and long time friend, Friedrich Wohlfäht, he expanded and thrust the genre beyond its known limits.

I bow down to your knowledge good sir!
