I'd go with half-step' date=' but they aren't the same song or even almost the same song. [/quote']

Find me 2 GD tunes that are more similar!? (and Women R Smarter/Iko doesn't count)

I Know You Rider and Morning Dew have the same chord progressions, the only differences being tempo and the way "Morning Dew" has AABB verses instead of the AAB verses of "I Know You Rider".

Aloha,

Brad

As for Geoffs other question, Althea and Throwing Stones.

I read somewhere that Robert Hunter thought Deal and Franklin's Tower were essentially the same song.

How about the guitar solo in Throwing Stones versus the guitar intro to Samson & Delilah? They sound pretty similar to me.
