Renting a moving van in Ottawa

Co-worker is moving at the end of July and is not having much luck renting a truck. Can anyone recommend a good local company? Just need a van rental, no actual movers required.

Yeah, she tried them but can't get an answer. I've also heard some sketchy stories about U-Haul recently.

it's hit or miss i find. two moves ago the uhaul was perfect and cheap, last move i rented from the address above (on a busy day) and had to wait 4 hours as there were no trucks, even though I booked one.

but if they go for uhaul, try to get the first booking of the day, then you won't have to wait in the case of a late return.

try my companies truck centre hertz truck rentals on innis rd. I don't deal trucks at my airport location but most of the intown locations have them. cube trucks and 24 footers.. the truck centre is 613-745-1396. it's actually at 1160 new market st just off of innes. it will be pricey for end of the month but we arn't shady all.. get what you pay for and supply and demand.. end of the month is always crazy for them. ciao
