This was a few months ago when he was at the casino. It doesn't cost anything, they give you one of those cards that you hand in to any table you sit at and you insert it into every slot machine you use, and you rack up points and presumeably they comp you all kinds of stuff. Thing is, he barely played the day he signed up for the club and he hasn't been back since.So a few weeks ago he gets a letter thanking him for joining the club, and offering him two free tickets to either of the Allman Brothers shows, or any of the three Kenny Rogers shows, simply as a thank-you. I think he had to call and tell them whether or not he'd take them. We showed up yesterday around 4 or 4:30 and were given a pair of floor seats absolutely free. Show was great, met Derek Trucks afterwards, blah blah blah, I'll post more about it in the other thread.Here's the kicker and something to note for all you poor hippies dying to see tonight's $55 concert but are short on dough: As we were in line for the box office, there was a dude at another window filling out the form to join the Player's Club and the woman in the box office gave him a free ticket to tonight's show on the spot - he didn't know it was coming and was completely surprised and thankful, and he ended up sitting right next to us.So what I'm saying is - maybe you shouldn't take my word for it 100%, might be worth calling them before you go - but I think they're comping these shows to the Players Club, and apparently they'll dole out tickets even if you join on the spot. Like I said, I don't want to be responsible for anybody heading to Rama today and being denied, but I felt this was information I couldn't keep to myself. Do with it what you will. In fact, in the monthly letter they send to Niagara members, they always list the upcoming concerts, most of which have a "two free tickets" option listed.
