PRESS:

"Imagine K-Os backed by Ben Harper's band and you've got Kae Sun" - Maryam Siddiqi - National Post Canada.

"Combining elements of jazz, reggae, hip-hop and rock, Sun is transcending genres, all the while bringing a unique depth to his music." - Mike DiRisio - Brock Press

"With his backing band blurring the lines between jam bands, soul and hip-hop, Kae Sun incited a hip assortment at the Supermarket" - Aaron Levy - Exclaim!

"Kae Sun’s style pays homage to some of his influences, which range from Nina Simone, Marvin Gay, Curtis Mayfield to Bob Dylan, and conscious hip hop artists such as Talib Kweli and Common. However, he should not be narrowly defined as a rapper, because his musical collage includes soundscapes that can catch anyone down with hip hop, soul, reggae or folk by surprise." - Johnathan Robinson - Trent Arthur
