MarcO
Besides sex, water, air, food, a boner, sunlight and The Beatles, what could be more boffo than just sitting and doing a crossword puzzle for four and a half hours?

Patchoulia
While I do have some specific (anal) requirements vis a vis crossword puzzles, I do love them so!

Hal Johnson
You get the Toronto Star on a Saturday and they've got not one, but TWO crosswords, side by side! Thats crosswording satisfaction. Not to mention that freaky cryptic one at the bottom of the page. What the hell is the trick to that, or is there even one? Ol'Hickster
I have done that before doing one of those Sudoku or what ever there called and got to the last square and found out something was wrong somewhere and I got pissed off and threw the fucking thing out
Patchoulia
I am somewhat obsessed with crosswords...I chronicle my obsession on a post on my blog..http://patchoulia.blogspot.com/2007/09/extra-extra-newspapers-me-my-daily.htmlI find it most hilarious because I mention the Toronto Sun in my blog and someone from the Sun actually commented on my BLOG! MY BLOG?! Me? Some random, inconsequential person peripherally mentioning the Sun engenders a response from someone at the paper? I rest my case... Birdy
Marco, nothing is more satisfying than a crossword puzzle. I'm with you my friend! I buy newspapers for nothing but, skip straight to the crossword section, yank it out and recycle the rest.
phorbesie
i love them too. i read the whole paper but save the crossword for last and anticipate it the whole time. then a coffee with baileys and i'm all set. i only get the paper on the weekends though, so i only get to do the sunday NYT. i wish i could do the saturday one regularly though cuz i find it much harder than the sunday. bradm
I do an on-line crosswordhttp://www.uclick.com/client/can/fcx/pretty much every morning. I find it's pretty easy (usually taking me around 5 minutes), though.Aloha,Brad

scottieking
Crossword fans should find this documentary. Wordplay is an awesome look at the creation of the NY Times crossword and the championships every year.
SteveThe Owl
I think I've seen it... or maybe I've seen it reviewed. Either way,it's awesome. How do people feel about Sudoku? Personally, I prefer crosswords, but those Sudoku are [color:red]SO addictive!
