Springsteen Pre-Sale?

I don't know about any presales but I can tell you to beware if he sells GA tix on the floor. In the past he's offered the random wristband policy for some lucky fans to be right in front of the stage. In Ottawa last month, fans had to line up between 2-5pm to receive a wristband and not guarentee themselves standing room right in front of the stage. If you are not so lucky I will say that I don't think I've ever seen so many people jammed at the back of the floor for GA before.

I bought my tickets for Ottawa the day before the show and ended up 4 rows right beside the stage.

I think its all luck of the draw. Good luck!

I too scored a GA ticket on the floor, so if anyone wants to hang on the floor for the Boss at Copps let me know?

I tried for four together and was unsuccessful so I attempted to try for a pair and again nothing so I got myself a single and then after that I interestingly enough got three together for all of my other friends that wanted me to get them tickets.

Let's rock. Gonna be a great show and I'm totally expecting Copps to have super HIGH energy for the Boss.

Lots of time to plan, but do you have any ideas on a possible venue for some preshow drinks, food, etc?

Anyone else thinking about Buffalo Boss too?

Hey Kanada Kev,

In 2005 when I saw the Boss at the ACC and a couple of days later I was a walk up at the HSBC because the ACC gig was so good, this scenario may very well happen again with Copps and then the HSBC.

I already saw the E Street Band ACC gig this year and I only regret it when I miss a Bruce Springsteen gig that I was able to attend, so again it's a very good possibility.

Right on ... still have a few months to figure it all out.

In the meantime, are we gonna get you out to Turn It On Again on Dec 8th at the Danforth Music Hall? We're organizing a preshow party at the Black Swan before.

That's something I'm interested in attending.

I will let you know when I decide.

The Pepper Jack Cafe - great food and less then a 5 minute walk from Copps.

Not sure if this was posted yet or not.

Danny Federici Taking a Leave of Absence from E Street Band

Danny Federici, an original member of the E Street Band, is taking a

leave of absence from the current Bruce Springsteen and the E Street

Band tour to pursue treatment for melanoma. Charles Giordano, who

played with Bruce as a member of the Sessions Band, will temporarily

fill in for Danny until he is able to return. Federici has been

playing keyboards with Springsteen since the late Sixties. Said

Springsteen, "Danny is one of the pillars of our sound and has played

beside me as a great friend for more than 40 years. We all eagerly

await his healthy and speedy return."

Federici has been actively supporting the Melanoma Research

Foundation and its Wings of Hope Gala, honoring Dr. Paul Chapman.

"Impressed" seems like such a small word when I think back to the

last two months of Danny rocking out night after night, cancer be

damned. With Thanksgiving upon us, those nights with this band are

high on my list of things I'm grateful for. So is modern medicine.

Our thoughts are with Danny, with prayers and high hopes for

successful treatment.

Our thoughts are with Charlie, too, as he prepares to step into some

big shoes as the Magic tour rolls on. From what we saw on the

Sessions tour, if anyone can do it, he can.

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, with good food, good friends

and family.

Yeah, i heard. Bummer. Can't believe TicketBastard is STILL selling tix for the show.

Looks like a resched to February. They had better honour my tickets at that show! (don't want to give up front row centre ).

Next 2 nights of Neil will EASILY take my mind of it all ;)

Agreed, see you there.
