Prost
Cleveland on map as Family Guy spin-offKimberly Nordyke and Nellie Andreeva , ReutersPublished: Friday, February 29, 2008LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) -Family Guy's henpecked husband Cleveland Brown might be getting his own show. The Fox network and the show's producer, 20th Century Fox TV, are developing a spin-off from their hit animated series centered on Peter Griffin's bathtub-accident-prone neighbor, sources said. The project, tentatively titled Cleveland, is being written by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry -- a writer/producer who voices Cleveland -- and Rich Appel, an executive producer on MacFarlane's other Fox cartoon, American Dad Cleveland, who plays off black stereotypes, is the most levelheaded among Griffin's trio of friends. He's also pushed around by his wife.Once canceled by Fox, Family Guy triumphantly returned on the network in 2005. It is Fox's top-rated comedy and has grown into a $1 billion franchise with red-hot DVD and merchandise sales
Jaimoe
Fox is also planning on spinning off Prison Break - I believe both shows were mentioned in the same press release. I'll watch both spin-offs.

YearsAlongTheSea
Nice, I'd be psyched to see a spin-off on Cleveland. I wonder what direction it will go in once they give his character more depth. Should be good....
Jaimoe
It almost feels too soon to spin-off The Family Guy. The show's supporting characters have started to feel developed only in the last few years. Let's hope Cleveland's jive-talking ex-wife is included in the cast. Jaimoe
Family Guy is a hit-and-miss kind of show. One-liner/slpastick/ and sight-gag shows are always like this. I hope the Cleveland show tries to go with stronger stories and character development, which his character's nature should dictate.
Freak By Night
Speaking of the Family Guy, Stewie delivered a hilarious Grateful Dead reference in last night's episode. "I'll trade you my shirt for grilled cheese"anyone see it?
