secondtube
ya, i fish....a little, lol. you want neoprene waders.....basically they breathe a bit...keeping you from boiling in the water. boots generally are part of the waders....only super expensive waders have seperate boots from the waders. as for the cottage....i have tons of friends in the East that fish...let me know how much you want to spend, and if it matters what you fish for... jaybone
My parents have a place on Charleston Lake. It's about 1.5 hours from Ottawa and has great fishing. Lots of bass (both largemouth and smallmouth), pike, lake trout etc. I know there are a few places that rent in their area so I'll keep an eye out for you! Gr8FuL
If you're looking for waders go through Cabela's http://www.cabelas.com/ssubcat-1/cat20614.shtmlthey've got a great selection, and tons of product in different price ranges I just bought a pair of hoffman duramag waders from them a few monthes back for duck hunting. They';re great. I've been dealing with cabelas for years for all my outfittign needs and have never had a problem gret quality and they back all their merch so if you have any issue sint he least you wont have a hard time exchanging or getting a refund.Enjoy your fishing trip. secondtube
charleston lake is an amazing lake! jaybone, want some company this summer? the smallie fishing on that lake is some of the best in Eastern Ontario!
jaybone
Secondtube- I actually wouldn't mind a fishing buddy! The lake is pretty well known for it's lake trout and we have lots of American tourists trolling the deeps!Do you ever fly fish? I'm thinking about taking it up. There are some good streams to fly fish around Oakville and I don't have a boat so it might be a good option to feed the fishing jones. secondtube
i dont ... but have many friends that do....the thing with charleston is the lakers are super popular, which keeps the pressure down on the smallies....which are the true trophies on that lake...i can get you info re: streams in this area if you wish...
