If you are interested in Vegetarian restaurants, you CANNOT miss Herbivore.

531 Divisadero St

San Francisco, CA 94117

Easy walk to Haight from there.

I literally ate there every day the last time I visited. Twice on one day.

Just a few doors down is a sub place that has AWESOME seitan subs.

ben & jerry's at the corner of haight and ashbury. grab a cone and walk up to the park. (and bring some extra shoes to toss overtop the wires on the corner.)

lombard street, up near the wharf.

the wharf, including the aquarium.

that dude who hides behind his bush.

the bart to berkely (... shake shake shake... being underneath the bay is frighteningly cool)

muir woods in morin county (across the GG Bridge)

and of course, the castro. pete will love all the gaybars. the cowboys there love canadian men :)

imagine the street burrito vendors vary throughout town but I lived on em when I was there, super tasty and enourmous

also enjoyed Jack Kerouac Alley, met a few artists and such, great coffee... other people've told me its touristy but I didn't really notice

people are very nice near the black area off the panhandle

have fun! =)
