(I might not watch tv, but I watch movies)

I watched a movie last night...The Experiment...so intense. It is subtitled, made in Germany. I love German film.

My favorite film of all time is

Das Boot

following that is

Max

Soul Plane

Tenacious D

Pride and Prejudice (I've read her books so often that I can't help but love the movies)

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

1st Blade Movie

Anne of Green Gables

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Star Wars trilogy

Golden Fiddles

Star Trek movies

Whale Music

Hedwig and the Angry Inch

And I like the Predator movies, especially Predator v. Alien (I can't beleive that I am admitting to that)

My favorite film of all time is

Das Boot

Kickass movie. I went to see that when it first came out with my mom (i was 11 ). I love WWII movies and this has got to be my favourite.

I can't stand seeing it dubbed with english voices. You have to subtitle it and hear the German voices IMHO.

Of course, you must also love "Das Boobs" from SCTV:

If you like Das Boot or German films check out Der Untergang (Downfall). It is a very intense movie about the final days of Adolf Hitler. Bruno Ganz is fantastic as Hitler.

And check out the chilling German film The Lives of Others (Oscar winner for best foreign language film in 2007). One sad footnote to the film is that the unforgettable star, Ulrich Mühe, died of stomach cancer not too long after the film was released, although he did live long enough to win both a German Film Award and European Film Award for best actor.
