Hartamophone Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 (edited) So after a round-about journey from Michigan I've just arrived back in Victoria. What a top-shelf festival. I've been to my share of festies over the years, and out of all the major ones I've been to this one was hands-down the best in terms of lay-out, lines, cleanliness and all-around logistics. I had a hard time remembering that it was only a first year event. As for the shows, Bisco was a pleasant surprise, Yonder with Fishman was a great one and an acoustic mini-set by Drive By Truckers was an unexpected early highlight. Greensky Bluegrass, Trey, Gordo, Nershi/Emmit, Primus, Railroad Earth, and DMB were highlights.
