TimmyB Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 Happy Birthday Mick,I hope you have many, many more in health and happiness.I wonder how many more tours you will do as the Rolling Stones?A couple of years ago on this day I saw a solo Bruce Hornsby show at the Glenn Gould Theatre and I put in a request that said "Today is Mick Jagger's birthday, could you please play a Rolling Stones song in celebration of his birthday. Thanks!" Bruce read the request out loud and then he played "Let it Bleed." At the end of the song Hornsby said "That's for you, whoever requested it. I bet you didn't think I would do that one, did you?" Which is funny because I just made a general request and had no idea which Stones song Hornsby would do. Then Bruce said "How many people knew that song?" Most of us gave a positive response and he said "Y'all are lying."
